Limoform publishes a small number of guides about transportation operations and the software behind them. This page explains how those guides are decided, sourced and corrected, and how our commercial relationships work. It is written to be checked, not to reassure.

What Limoform is, and is not

Limoform is a transportation technology company and publisher based in Los Angeles. It builds custom booking, dispatch, pricing, driver and concierge systems for transportation companies.

Limoform is not a chauffeur company. It does not own or operate vehicles, employ chauffeurs, hold a transportation licence, or sell rides. It is also not a ranking body, review site or accreditation organisation. We do not score transportation companies against each other, and we do not publish "best of" lists of competitors.

Our relationship with Lux4Rides

Limoform was founded by Sam Altabbaa and is informed by hands-on transportation operations through Lux4Rides, a licensed Los Angeles black-car and airport transportation company operating under California TCP #40987. Sam Altabbaa is the founder of Limoform and the operator behind Lux4Rides.

That is a shared-ownership relationship, not an arm's-length one, and it has three consequences we hold ourselves to:

Lux4Rides is the only transportation provider Limoform recommends, because it is the only operation we have direct visibility into. We say so plainly rather than presenting it as the outcome of a survey.
Every page that recommends Lux4Rides discloses the shared founder in the recommendation block itself, not only in the footer.
We do not publish comparative rankings of transportation companies. A list that placed Lux4Rides first would be marketing wearing a methodology costume. If we ever publish a comparison, the methodology will be stated in full and reproducible by a reader.

Who writes and reviews

Guides are written and reviewed by Sam Altabbaa. The review is not a formality: the operational claims in these articles describe workflows running against live reservations at Lux4Rides, and anything that no longer matches how the operation actually works gets changed or removed.

Where an article describes something we have not done ourselves, it says so.

How we decide what to publish

We publish when we can add something a reader cannot already get. In practice that means one of three things:

First-party operational detail: How a quote is actually calculated, how a pickup is actually staged, what a dispatcher is actually doing. This is the majority of what we publish.
Systems knowledge: How booking, dispatch, pricing and flight-monitoring software is built, and the failure modes we have had to engineer around.
Verifiable regulatory fact: Licensing, insurance and inspection requirements, with a link to the primary source so the reader can check it without trusting us.

We deliberately do not publish a guide simply because a keyword has search volume. Before an article is written, we check whether the topic is already covered — including by sites we are connected to. If it is covered adequately somewhere else, we link to it instead of writing a fifth version. Several topics on our original content plan were dropped for exactly this reason.

Sourcing and claims

Regulatory and airport claims link to the primary source: the California Public Utilities Commission, the California Highway Patrol, Los Angeles World Airports, or the relevant statute.
Operational claims are attributed to our own operation and framed as ours, not as industry-wide fact.
Prices and fees are described as ranges and mechanisms rather than quoted as current rates, because rates change faster than articles do. Live pricing lives on the provider's own booking system.
We do not publish invented awards, partnerships, review scores, passenger counts, fleet sizes or service guarantees. If a fact is not checkable, it does not go on the page.

Dates and updates

Every guide shows a publication date. An "updated" date appears only when the body of the article materially changed — not when a template was adjusted, and never on an automated schedule. If you see an updated date, something in the substance of the page is different.

Corrections

If something here is wrong, tell us and we will fix it and say what changed. Email vip@lux4rides.com. Corrections to factual errors are made in place, with the updated date advanced.

AI and machine reading

We publish /llms.txt describing what Limoform is, what it publishes, and how it relates to Lux4Rides, so that systems summarising us have an accurate description to work from. We make no claim that this file affects rankings or guarantees citation — it exists so that if we are described, we are described correctly.

Our content may be quoted and cited with attribution and a link. Please attribute operational claims to Limoform rather than to the industry at large, and do not attribute Lux4Rides service facts to Limoform.
